MHDi
Mental Health Drive Initiative, a network of mental health professionals and other professionals within and outside the healthcare industry, is a non-governmental organisation established to promote positive mental well-being in the society. The initiative was founded on July 1st, 2018 by Daniel D. Faleti, a psychiatric-mental health nurse.

Vision: To be the leading voice in mental health promotion.

Mission: To promote the positive mental well-being through the creation of awareness through education, seminars/workshops, campaigns, etc; conduct of mental health related researches and the dissemination of findings; seeking inter-sectorial and multidisciplinary support; and the provision of counselling and referral services by mental health experts.




About the Founder
Daniel D. Faleti is a psychiatric-mental health nurse passionate about positively impacting individuals, families and/or groups, and the community/society through evidence-based practice. He has interest in mental health, research, education, writing and editing, and administration.

He is currently based and working as a mental health nurse in the United Kingdom. He is also a representative of the Royal College of Nursing, United Kingdom. He is the immediate past secretary, Association of Psychiatric Nurses of Nigeria, Kwara State Chapter, Nigeria.

He is currently a postgraduate student at the University of Essex, United Kingdom for Master's degree in Nursing. He is an alumnus of School of Nursing, Sacred Heart Hospital, Abeokuta; School of Psychiatric Nursing, Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Aro, Abeokuta and Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso.

He is a member of International Academy of Nursing Editors; Mentally Aware Nigeria Initiative; Institute of Nursing Research, Nigeria; International Council of Nursing Nurse Practitioners/Advance Practice Nursing Network; Global Mental Health Action Network, among others.

He is credited with several awards and publications including research articles and review of some articles for journal publications. He is married to Damilola M. Faleti, a perioperative nurse.
